Unlike the typical experience of entering a gym without a clear direction, our facility offers a structured approach to your fitness journey. Upon joining, you gain exclusive access to 5 of our small group training paired with unlimited access to our medical grade full spectrum infrared saunas. 

Group Classes

  • Our Approach: Our methodology revolves around tailor-made strength training to propel you towards your fitness goals and promote longevity. Emphasizing strength training for both longevity and optimal body composition, we concentrate on cultivating exercise habits that contribute to overall well-being and fitness. Through our resistance-based strength training, you can expect to develop increased lean muscle mass while safeguarding against the loss of lean muscle mass.
  • Our Classes: In our classes, we prioritize individual needs, acknowledging your previous workouts. This means your routine is adjusted based on your recent exercises; if you worked on your legs yesterday, you won’t repeat it in today’s group class. 
  • Small Group Setting: Despite the small group setting, your workout is uniquely tailored to you. With a maximum of 7 participants per class, you experience the benefits of group support without a one-size-fits-all approach. 

Whether you’re just getting started or you treat working out like a part-time job, our fitness staff members are always on hand to help guide you through your workout so you’ll get the absolute most from your time at Your Journey Health Club.

The Sauna

Our saunas go deep, radiating heat deep into your muscles and tissues.

The heat and light sweat of the sauna can release toxins via perspiration for a truly invigorating detox therapy that leaves you feeling refreshed and cleansed. 

The warm, gentle heat penetrates your skin, reaching into your muscles and joints, alleviating discomfort, reducing inflammation and, soothing stiffness. 

Time in the sauna is also great for your cardiovascular system. It causes an increase in heart rate comparable to that of a light workout, intensifying calorie burn and stimulating better blood circulation.

Of course, the soothing warmth of the infrared sauna is also just plain delightful. It helps reduce stress, calm nerves, and encourage better sleep. 

How to Use the Gym and Sauna Together for Total Body and Mind Health

Being at the gym is all about challenging your body, sweating it out, and using stress to make your body stronger and healthier. However, prepping and recovery are equally important parts of your fitness journey. Without the right muscle prep, you may experience an injury. Without proper post-workout wind down, you’ll experience greater muscle soreness (which might scare you off from going to the gym the next time). Our sauna is your perfect partner in pre and post workouts. 

Pre-Workout

Before you start exerting effort on cardio machines or strength training equipment, your body needs to get warmed up. Just a few minutes in the sauna increases your core body temperature and loosens up your muscles while kick-starting your cardiovascular system in preparation for a more intense training session.

Post-Workout

It’s normal for your muscles to feel stiff and sore after an intensive training session–but you don’t have to endure muscle pain. This is the perfect time to pamper yourself with a sauna session.The heat relaxes tense muscles and increases your blood circulation so the little tears and stresses in your muscles will heal faster. It also helps your body flush out toxins, promoting faster recovery. 

Interval Workouts

Trying to keep your heart rate up during those interval workout sessions? Step into the sauna in between your intervals to keep your heart rate slightly elevated, sustaining your body’s fat-burning processes. You’ll end up burning more calories even while resting!
